It had a charming vintage style that made me feel right at home. The general areas of the apartment were clean and well-maintained, and there were no obstacles or stairs that would be difficult for senior people to navigate. It was a comfortable and inviting environment for someone like me.
The only thing I would ask for to make the vacation even better for senior people is for the staff to be more attentive and understanding. Sometimes the children working there seemed a bit busy and distracted, and it would have been nice to have a bit more assistance when needed.

The floral wallpaper and vintage furniture made me feel like I was staying in a quaint cottage. The common areas were well-maintained and easy to navigate, which was wonderful for a senior like me. The hotel's convenient accessibility made it a breeze for me to explore the surrounding area and enjoy my vacation to the fullest.
I would have appreciated more senior-friendly amenities, such as handrails in the bathroom or an elevator for easier access to higher floors.

our recent stay in south shields was great, especially thanks to week2week tynemouth. the location was perfect and having reserved parking made everything easy. the apartment itself was lovely - clean, bright, and spacious. close proximity to the start of GNR was an added bonus.
Something was off - missing balcony and garden.

Great location near the finish line of the GNR. Lovely big apartment, bright and airy. Close to a big supermarket.
Maintenance issues were not addressed promptly. Heating and hot water didn't work at first, and it took a while to get a response.

We had a great stay at Week2Week Tynemouth. the apartment was lovely, big, and clean with plenty of natural light. It was conveniently located near the start of GNR, making it easy for us to participate in the event. The reserved parking was a bonus, and we loved that there was a huge Morrisons nearby in case we needed to buy anything we forgot. cons: Can't think of anything. 🤷♀️.

I absolutely loved the decoration of the apartment. It had a charming and cozy feel to it, with beautiful artwork and comfortable furniture. The general areas of the building were well-maintained and clean, making it easy for me to navigate as a senior. The lift was a great help, especially when carrying my luggage.
The only thing I would ask for to make the vacation better for senior people is more assistance from the staff. Sometimes the children working there seemed overwhelmed and struggled to respond promptly to our requests.
